Forgiveness After Divorce.
Of course we all hope for a new life after divorce. We hope that our perfect partner will appear and make everything just fine. However, a big part of moving on and becoming ready for a new relationship is forgiveness.
“Forgiveness is letting go of your resentment, disappointment, anger and hurt. When you do, they no longer intrude on your thoughts and your sleep” Gary Zukav.
You may have to forgive yourself as well as your ex-partner in order to move on.
Forgiving yourself means accepting your part in the relationship difficulties, taking responsibility for them and working out how you will do things differently next time.
Acknowledge, let go and move on.
