A Christmas Present For You

We are all pretty good at beating ourselves up. How often do you think that you couldn’t manage something, that you are not good enough etc., etc., Go easy on yourself, take time to notice all the things you can do, all the things you are good at. Yes it’s good to step out of your comfort zone and learn new skills and accept new challenges, but sometimes the biggest challenges are actually hiding on the edge of your comfort zone.

Go easy on yourself, and the easiest way to do that is to make your day to day living as easy as possible. For many people that means no more than being more organised, get rid of the clutter so that you always find what you need. Put your keys in the same place every time you come in so that you don’t get stressed looking for them. Keep an appointment diary, don’t rely on your memory for day to day trivia, keep it for the big stuff! Routine in your life makes living easier and gives you more time and energy to step out of your comfort zone and take on new challenges.
