Dr. Denis Waitley wrote the following in the book called “The Secret”
‘When you visualise you materialise. Here’s an interesting thing about the mind: we took Olympic athletes and had them run their event only in their mind, and then hooked them up to sophisticated biofeedback equipment. Incredibly the same muscles fired in the same sequence when they were running the race in their mind as when they were running the race on the track. How could this be?
Because the mind can’t distinguish whether you are really doing it or whether it is just a practice. If you’ve been there in the mind, you’ll go there in the body.

Visualisation is a powerful tool, I teach it to people to help them relax, to change their behaviour and to realise their goals. Close your eyes and relax, imagine you are sitting in front of a beautiful log fire, the flames are curling around the logs, the embers are glowing red hot, there’s not much smoke, but you can just smell it. The heat from the fire is warming your face, it’s really quite hot, imagine the heat spreading through your body, the heat makes you sleepy, the warmth relaxes your muscles, you love this sleepy warm feeling.
