Gut Feelings

Gut Feelings.
03092009240This is Aoraki Mt Cook, the highest mountain in NZ. My intuition told me to arrive there early, before the snow fell, I’m glad I did!
You will have had gut feelings about people or events, I’m sure of it. Gut feelings are your intuition at work. We often refer to women’s intuition, but men have intuition too, they just don’t call it that.

Sometimes you meet a person and you get a pleasant lift in your solar plexus or in your tummy.
Other people make your tummy muscles tighten up and the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.

You may be driving along and get a strong feeling to slow down or take another route – to discover later that you avoided and accident or hold up on the road.

You may know when you go for an interview that you’ll get the job, even before the interview happens.

All of these things are gut feelings or intuition. Your intuition is working all the time, you just may not pay enough attention to it. Try to check in with your intuition frequently, if you get a feeling about something, stay with it for a few minutes, see if it develops. Keep a diary of your gut feelings, you’ll be amazed at just how often you get some inner guidance.

People have many different names for the guidance they get, Spirit, God, Universal Intelligence or Energy, It doesn’t matter what name you give it, just develop the connection through your intuition, you can only benefit. All of the successful people I know attribute their success, in some part, to guidance in some shape or form, none of them are arrogant enough to think that they did it alone!
